The Black Lion (Kuro Raion) blade is hand forged of high carbon steel. This is a real sword with a sharp edge (shinken). It has a blood groove for excellent balance and reduced weight. It can be used for kata as well as cutting. It has an extended handle (13") for better grip. The blade is 29" and weight of the katana is 2.5 lbs. The blade comes with a black tsuka (handle) and sageo (chord) & includes the box.
