This is a real sword with a very sharp edge (shinken). The Tatsujin Katana is an excellent value with a high quality blade of high quality carbon steel and is manufactured using the Damascus style of folding the blade many times. This sword can be used for iaido and kata as well as cutting. the handle is 11" long and the blade is 29". Weight of the katana alone is 2.5 lb.
