In this fully illustrated volume, he demonstrates the kata and self-defense techniques of the nunchaku. Included: gripping, stances, blocking, striking, footwork, nunchaku and karate similarities, and more than 20 defenses against other weapons. Demura studied martial arts weapons under Kenshin Taira and Ryusho Sagakami. Demura is the president of the Japan Karate Association.
