The Mace 80351 uses passive infrared detection to turn on a light and sound a 115 dB alarm when the sensor is triggered by motion. It is effective coverage is an area about 18' with a 90 degree radius. The alarm is portable and wall mountable.

It can be set to operate as a light only. The light will turn off after 15 seconds. So it is great for night time use in hallways and on stairs. Requires 4 AA batteries, not included.
