The Nitan Bo, a unique weapon meaning two-short sticks, is a weapon from Okinawa, Japan. It is part of the traditional Okinawan Kobudo or ancient weapons system. The applications of the weapon are not only very fast but also very powerful. This video shows the complete use of the weapon including kata and Combat Applications. From this video you will learn the rare and beautiful Nitan Bo Kata which has been handed down from Grand Master Yuichi Kuda (1928-1999). Once a secret, this kata uses the graceful movements of Okinawan folkdance to conceal its deadly power. The kata emphasizes circular movements and many Combat Applications. Master George Alexander, the foremost authority on this kata, expertly demonstrates the form on this video.

Recorded in DVD-R format. Be sure that your system can handle this format.

"The right of self-defense is the first law of nature; ... when the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any color or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction." - Henry St. George Tucker, in Blackstone's 1768 Commentaries on the Laws of England.
