RAT-5 features a 5" partially serrated drop point blade of D2 carbon steel, .187" thick. The blade of this Ontario knife has a non reflective gray powder coated finish, RAT logo, and a texture notched thumb rest for secure grip. The RAT-5 knife has full tang construction with greenish gray canvas Micarta scales, and a skull crusher pommel with lanyard hole. A Cordura nylon sheath with liner and accessory pouch is included. The RAT-5 Knife with part serrated D2 blade has an overall length of 10.75". Made by Ontario Knife Co. U.S.A. The gray powder coated blades may be scratched upon arrival. We have seen the cardboard protectors scratch these coatings from shipping vibration. We do not consider these scratches a defect, but a characteristic of the coating itself.
