TigerLight Series I and II are used by Special Forces, FBI, Federal Prisons, C.E.R.T., SWAT and many others. This tool dramatically increases officer effectiveness while reducing liability exposure due to improper use-of-force. It is known for having saved a number of lives, having the highest “stop rate” (96%) on violent subjects of any non-lethal weapon currently in use according to a Los Angeles Sheriff's Department study done with the Series I. The secret to it's effectiveness is that the suspect reacts to the light. The attacker does not realize he is going to be sprayed. Therefore, he is not able to shield his face, turn away, close his eyes or hold his breath. Consequently, the spray has a much more powerful effect, especially on the respiratory system. In many cases, the effect on the respiratory system is the only thing that stops the attack.

The Series II is 10 7/8 inches long, 21 ounces Aircraft Aluminum body, knurled finish for a good grip, Type III Mil Spec Hard Coat Anodized Water resistant with O-ring secured joints. Choice of brightness: 275/375/600 lumen. The 600 lumen unit is an LED with strobe and reduced power modes 7.2 volt 2100 mAh NiMH rechargeable "no memory" battery. Choice of chargers: Standard or Rapid/Smart Choice of EID compatible Pepper Sprays in cone and stream formulations in 2 oz (56 gm) canisters Pepper sprays have about 7 sec of continuous spray or 10 to 25 short bursts.
