The World Combat League owned by Chuck Norris will require that all fighters wear the Brain-Pad mouthpiece in all WCL matches. In the words of Commissioner Cory Shafer "I've come to the decision that the single mouthpiece design does not effectively protect our athletes particularly in regard to protecting the lower jaw or diffusing energy from lateral or upper blows. Because of this we have decided to require the use of Brain-Pad technology in all World Combat League matches. And it is my intention to encourage other leagues, associations and combat sports franchises to do exactly the same thing."
